Want a new healthy lunch idea?  My kids and I have really been enjoying making our own wraps.  They are healthy, easy and fun to make.

I get out a whole bunch of meat, cheeses and vegetables out and lay them out for the kids to help me make them.  The LOVE helping me in the kitchen.

I just use what I have in the refrigerator, you really can’t go wrong.  Some of my favorites are chicken, cheese, tomatoes, cucumber, lettuce and cream cheese.

The kids always LOVE them.  (It is a great way to squeeze in a couple of your 5-9 servings of veggies a day!)

The kids also like it when I cut them up small for them.

You can also just put the ingredients for a wrap sandwich into your child's lunchbox and let them have the fun of making their own lunch; kids love to play with food.

Hot wrap sandwiches are usually wrapped in foil and heated after being assembled.

Cold wrap sandwiches are perfect for lunchboxes. The bread stays nice and firm, the sandwiches are easy to eat as long as they are firmly held, and you can transform almost any ingredient into a wrap sandwich.

Here are a couple of other wrap recipes from busycooks.com.
