An enchanting place...

Have you ever found a magical world so fascinating you never wanted to leave?

Was it behind your wardrobe? Did you find it by falling down a rabbit hole in your backyard?

Was it a medieval or maybe a futuristic world?

Perhaps, your wardrobe is sort of a time machine where simply putting on your clothes takes you to different eras and magical worlds outside your world?

Imagination is a marvelous thing... but have you ever thought that magic sometimes can truly happen... that magic can be as real as life itself?

That's the thing with magic. You've got to know it's all around you, or it will pass by you so fast it will fade behind life's horizon without you ever noticed it was there... and the sad part is, it will probably remain invisible forever...

What happens when a little girl goes on vacation and discovers an old magical door to the most enchanting place she'd ever seen?

She manages to open it and is forever enchanted when she gets her first peek into the lush surroundings.

As she starts to explore this magical world she discovers that there are more doors - all leading to the most secret of fairy places on a magical old castle...

Ah yes, I think she might have found her own magical world...

Whimsical places exist all over the world, only this place is not exactly found behind my wardrobe, but somewhere in South Florida, in a romantic and ancient mansion surrounded by beautiful gardens. Some people may see this place just as another place to visit while in Florida, but to me it is a truly enchanting place where I had the most fascinating time ever exploding the surroundings and gardens that inspire fantasies of lives never lived, wayward minotaurs, and renaissance love affairs...

I'm referring to the Vizcaya Museum and Gardens. A truly magical place, so green, alive and overflowing with beauty that will blast your minds into the past and out of the realm of reality.

Life is magic! Can you see it? Magic is everywhere! The truly magical moments in life are not those exceptional moments but moments shared with people you love; anywhere, everywhere... life´s magic is everywhere. You just have to open your eyes a little wider and take a closer look at the world around you.

Ps: There will be no Show Off Your Cottage Monday this week, but we'll get back into our weekly celebrating as soon as I get back from vacation... See you super soon!
